Member of the Year

Jessica is a long time Chapter member from one of the most influential firms in our region. JBG SMITH is known as a leader in sustainability and conservation efforts in the Washington region focusing on growing value with sustainable results. As JBG SMITH’s Director of Sustainability, she has been a major contributor to the Chapter’s Sustainable Design Committee - SDC.

Starting out as a contributing member she has been chair and co-chair of SDC through two maternity leaves. In addition to spearheading a schedule of outstanding events themed to make the business case for sustainability, under her guidance the role of the SDC has expanded to influence and input into the Chapter’s advocacy efforts and NAIOP’s national sustainability policy.
